Mīļais Debestēvs!
Tik daudz Tavi bērni cīnās izprast, kad viņu dzīves atgriezīsies. Patiesi, Tēvs, tik daudzi jūt, ka šī vairs nav pierasta dzīve – tā atdala no mīļajiem un dvēseli tur bailēs par vīrusa šausmīgām sekām un arvien augošām bezdarba briesmām. Jēzu, lūdzu no sirds, atklāj katram, ka un kā arī tagad ir patiesi Tavi vārdi: “Nebīsties! Es esmu Pirmais un Pēdējais, un Dzīvais. Es biju miris un, redzi – es esmu dzīvs mūžu mūžam, un man pieder nāves un elles atslēgas”. (Atkl 1:17) Kungs, mēs lūdzam atslēdz durvis, ja kāds jūtas kā ellē – Tu arī tur esi bijis, tāpat kā debesīs. (Ps 139:8) Tu esi ap mums no visām pusēm, Tu turi savu roku pār mums. (Ps 139:5) Paldies no sirds, Tev, Kungs Jēzu – Tevi neaizkavē slēgtas durvis, Tu atrodi mūs, kur slēpjamies aiz bailēm; Tu nāc mūsu vidū, žēlastībā un mīlestībā saki: “Miers ar jums!” (Jņ 20:19) Tu esi mūsu vidū, mēs neesam vieni. Dāvini katram šo dziedinošo mieru, palīdzi dziļāk ievilkt elpu un pacietībā turpināt dzīvot un lūgt, kamēr mīlestībā kalpojam cits citam. Paldies, Kungs Jēzu, ka Tu arī šinī laikā tik svētīgi, mums kādreiz neizdibināmi, bet svētīgi atklāj, ka un kā arvien esi bijis un būsi mūsu dzīvības spēks. Āmen.

Lord, Heavenly Father,
So many struggle and ask when life will return. So many feel this no longer is life, separated from their loved ones, their souls held captive by fear of the horrific consequences of the virus and the terror of unemployment. Lord Jesus, open each heart to hear your words: “Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last, the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” (Rev 1:17b-18). Lord, unlock all the doors for any who feel confined as if to hell. Gently remind us still that you descended into hell so heaven might be opened for all. Thank you that you grace us as you encircle us from behind and before and rest your hand upon us. (Ps 139:5). You are everywhere with us. Locked doors are no barrier to you. You find us where we hide and come to us, in grace and love declaring: Peace be with you!” (Jn 21:19). You find us where we are to reaffirm to us that we are not alone. Gift us your healing peace, help us breathe more deeply, cherish life as we continue to pray patiently, finding ways to serve one another in love. Receive our thanks, Lord, for, especially in this time, you continue to reveal to us how you are, have been, and will be our very life. Amen.
